The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Ado in the 6th minute of the match. Fulgencio Mark hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mogigasta defense, Baldomiro Ado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Raulo. The Mogigasta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Raulo should have stopped the shot. Nunez Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Moises Salomon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Raulo. Mogigasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Salomon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Mogigasta's Nunez Medardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Lop. Bernabe Lop yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Gaston Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Martin Raulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Salomon in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mogigasta's zone, Moises Salomon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Raulo came out of the goal and Moises Salomon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Gándara were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Baldomiro Ado made the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Cordearo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Cordearo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Epifanio Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Mogigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Montel came free, but Martin Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Ado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Raulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. When Nunez Medardo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mogigasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Medardo couldn't finish the play. If Nunez Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Martin Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Medardo in the 88th minute of play forced Gándara's goalkeeper Bernabe Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Nemesio Javiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gándara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mogigasta the free kick. Nemesio Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gándara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
