Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arsenal FC 2's Donato Sindo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Abelardo Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, Paula AFC's Fernando Bartoli made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Fresco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th match minute, Paula AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Honesto to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Fabio Peruanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Sengrat was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Fernando Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Fernando Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paula AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Bartoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenal FC 2's Ildefonso Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Bartoli in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game when Lorenzo Henrico tried to clear up in front of the goal it happened that the ball rolled into goal via right pole. An extremely disappointing self made goal which led to 2-1. With his leg Ildefonso Fresco managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Paula AFC's Severo Beltza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC 2's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Bartoli came free, but Ildefonso Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Fresco having to interfere. With his leg Ildefonso Fresco managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Paula AFC's Severo Beltza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernando Bartoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Fresco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When Severo Beltza came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Paula AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Beltza couldn't finish the play. Fernando Bartoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Fresco having to interfere. Ildefonso Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Bartoli made a kick off. When Paula AFC's Fernando Bartoli in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Hipolito Honesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC 2's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Bartoli came free, but Ildefonso Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fabio Peruanton came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Arsenal FC 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Peruanton couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Paula AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Eriberto Serapio hit a great ball. If Fernando Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Paula AFC's Abelardo Montes got a free kick in the 94th minute. Paula AFC's Edgardo Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Sindo in the 97th minute of play. Severo Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Fresco having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
