Jacobo Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Armando Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arturo Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Chañarito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Obano came free, but Jacobo Cefero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armando Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Gutxi in the 48th minute of play forced Los Cabesa de Trapo's goalkeeper Arturo Louis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Obano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artemio Baumer scored 0-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Cefero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anier Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Cefero having to interfere. Armando Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Louis having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ciriaco Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arturo Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Armando Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chañarito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Los Cabesa de Trapo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jaime Fernado hit a great ball. Armando Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Cabesa de Trapo's Arturo Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Saturnin in the 86th minute of play.
