Marciano Garikoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Garikoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marciano Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Gervasio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Miguel Raitin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Gervasio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Alonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolo Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Miguel Raitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavón's Edgard Haitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Pavón from getting a goal against them. When Justo Restu fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pavón's protests and gave Justo Restu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Nemesio Txanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pavón's Edgard Haitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ciudaviteco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Alonso came free, but Bartolo Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bartolo Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ciudaviteco F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascual Lobo was slow to take the kick. During this time Pavón's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pavón's corner Pascual Lobo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bartolo Francesco quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Pavón's Edgard Haitz got control of the ball when Juan Gartzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Alonso to make the kick off. Juan Gartzen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Ciudaviteco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Gartzen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Juan Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudaviteco F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Haitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolo Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Alonso in the 69th minute of play. Gervasio Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Justo Restu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ciudaviteco F.C.'s Bartolo Francesco. Bartolo Francesco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes, Nemesio Txanton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciudaviteco F.C. and the Pavón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ciudaviteco F.C.'s Nemesio Txanton got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gervasio Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Francesco having to interfere.
