Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Sabino could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Niceto Ramos however easily saved by the left post. Niceto Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Ler's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Samuel Timo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cesar Rudolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Godfredo Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Chapulines's Niceto Ramos got control of the ball when Cipriano Sabino tried to sneak it across the goal line.

In the 55th minute Jaime Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Eliseo Gonchan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Rudolfo, 0-3. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Cipriano Sabino sped through Chapulines's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niceto Ramos. Jaime Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Samuel Timo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Rudolfo, 1-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Eliseo Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapulines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Gonchan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cesar Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Horqueta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Olando to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Horqueta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Timo came free, but Cesar Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Rudolfo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Horqueta FC defense, Eliseo Gonchan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Rudolfo. The Horqueta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Rudolfo should have stopped the shot.
