Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Venancio Salbatore got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Cesar Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Blanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Micael in the 11th minute. Marcos Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcos Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Orlondo came free, but Honorio Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Donio. After 23 minutes, Cirilo Donio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avellaneda and the Curtiembre AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avellaneda's goalkeeper Honorio Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avellaneda's Honorio Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Orlondo in the 34th minute of play. Santos Orlondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Bermudez having to interfere. Marcos Micael was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Avellaneda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Marcos Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Micael's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tadeo Blanco firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute, Erubiel Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Salbatore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Gerardo Mitxel made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Venancio Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Salbatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marcos Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Blanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Venancio Salbatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Avellaneda's Honorio Bermudez got control of the ball when Santos Orlondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeo Blanco came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Avellaneda's Marcos Micael. But to his dismay, Marcos Micael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gerardo Mitxel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 78th minute, Rogelio Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Venancio Salbatore made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Blanco. Curtiembre AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Curtiembre AFC's zone, Venancio Salbatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Blanco came out of the goal and Venancio Salbatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Avellaneda had played much better football throughout.
