Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) David Cesario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Chinchinales FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Duarte. After a defensive mix-up in Salto AFC's zone, David Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Baumer came out of the goal and David Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 15 minutes, David Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinchinales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Arnulfo Hernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Arnulfo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinchinales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Baumer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Cesario's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute David Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Fe hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes, Benito Llanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salto AFC and the Chinchinales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Benito Llanos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Honorio Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Chinchinales FC's David Cesario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Baumer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Chinchinales FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Oscar Raulo hit a great ball. When Salvador Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Salto AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Navarro couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Chinchinales FC's Robustiano Weterio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Robustiano Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Honorio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Robustiano Celino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honorio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Cesario in the 72nd minute of the match. David Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Honorio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robustiano Celino during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquiles Pero charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Pero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chinchinales FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Aquiles Pero hit a great ball. Enzo Rufo, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Hernandez in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Baumer saved Salto AFC from getting behind. David Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Honorio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. David Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Honorio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, David Cesario put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Honorio Baumer. When the referee ended the match the Chinchinales FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
