Niupi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Edgardo Oinatz scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Satordi, making the score, 1-0. When Aristides Eneto came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Niupi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Eneto couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. talleres f.c.'s Camilo Janpier got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Oinatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Oinatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Satordi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Chago. A collision led to Niupi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cesar Arce hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Niupi's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Oinatz came free, but Angelino Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Satordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Janpier in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Oinatz made a kick off. Camilo Janpier struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Angelino Satordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for talleres f.c.. Salvador Unai struck a weak shot in the 58th minute.
