After 2 played minutes Ibarlucea got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Henry. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Adrian Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacharí's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Honrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Melchor Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Ibarlucea's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Honrio came free, but Jesus Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Adrian Honrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The nice shot from Jonatan Gipuzkoa in the 21stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Luciano Luke had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After having played for 26 minutes, Melchor Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacharí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Domiku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Christobal charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Christobal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibarlucea's Jesus Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Domiku in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jesus Lehior was a little too slow when Adrian Honrio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. Adrian Honrio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Cacharí's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Adrian Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Honrio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jesus Lehior. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Domiku got free with Jesus Lehior in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luciano Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Gipuzkoa in the 81st minute of play. Adrian Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Melchor Domiku came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cacharí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Domiku couldn't finish the play.
