Los Angeles's attack was well implemented in the 11th minute, but when Raimundo Cordarin was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Salvador Izel stood somewhat misplaced when Raimundo Cordarin came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 14 minute. 18 minutes into the match, Bote 's goalkeeper Salvador Izel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Fidencio. After 24 minutes, German Romildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Angeles and the Bote players grew even worse after the yellow card. German Romildo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Bote 's Leo Urdaspal got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Izel having to interfere. Raimundo Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Salvador Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Raimundo Cordarin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador Izel. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. The supporters of Bote booed when Los Angeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Kimetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

55 minutes into the match, Bote 's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Cordarin came free, but Salvador Izel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Gonzales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Izel having to make a save. After having played for 58 minutes, Raimundo Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Angeles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leo Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Los Angeles's Wilfredo Gonzales got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Salvador Izel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Angeles. Raimundo Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
