Leon Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Firme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Federación Barrial CeDelu's Anier Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Lizardi in the 6th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Matias Laurin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Rosario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Julio Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Malota AFC booed when Federación Barrial CeDelu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Malota AFC's Sixto Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Malota AFC's Angelo Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Etxatxu in the 28th minute of play. Angelo Firme was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Leon Etxatxu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leon Etxatxu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Malota AFC's Angelo Firme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Malota AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Leon Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Cayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Rosario having to interfere. When Juan Gitano fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Federación Barrial CeDelu's protests and gave Juan Gitano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Federación Barrial CeDelu's Juan Gitano got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Leon Etxatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malota AFC's Angelo Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Firme came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Federación Barrial CeDelu's Leon Etxatxu. But to his dismay, Leon Etxatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Anier Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Orlando Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Federación Barrial CeDelu booed when Malota AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Federación Barrial CeDelu's goalkeeper Anier Rosario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Cayo charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Cayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Malota AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Cayo. Julio Cayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Angelo Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Etxatxu in the 88th minute of play forced Malota AFC's goalkeeper Angelo Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orlando Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federación Barrial CeDelu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
