Cover FC's Fabio Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Mouricio in the 27th minute of play. Delmiro Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Ruy having to interfere. Delmiro Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Claudio Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Caldera's zone, Delmiro Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Ruy came out of the goal and Delmiro Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Ixidor during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Cordeara, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 71 minutes, Leopoldo Ur made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cover FC's Fabio Ourente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Cover FC's goalkeeper Fabio Ourente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Mouricio. After 86 played minutes Caldera got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cordeara. Sergio Mouricio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Fabio Ourente made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Leopoldo Ur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldera's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Ur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Sixto Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caldera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
