Anier Fidele hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Isaias Pelagius was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Candido Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Isidoro Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Malvinas booed when Uturungo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Gonchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Malvinas's Saul Farias in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uturungo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Uturungo AFC booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Leonel Guillen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Quinteros skillfully saved the ball. Isidoro Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Artal in the 34th minute of the match. Candido Artal might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Quinteros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Artal ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoro Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Omar Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Candido Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Mirande to make the kick off. Candido Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Quinteros having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Uturungo AFC's Omar Mirande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidoro Quinteros. That made the score 1-4 after 56 minutes of play. Candido Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Quinteros having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Candido Artal notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Malvinas's Isidoro Quinteros. Isidoro Quinteros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Artal got free with Isidoro Quinteros in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Uturungo AFC's Omar Mirande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Candido Artal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Quinteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Augusto Munio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malvinas and the Uturungo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Augusto Munio hit a great ball. Malvinas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Omar Mirande 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Candido Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uturungo AFC's Haroldo Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Pes in the 81st minute of play. Paolo Gelmiro's late challenge caught a Uturungo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Gelmiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Gelmiro. Isidoro Quinteros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Mirande's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Candido Artal in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Quinteros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Uturungo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
