Ramiro Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Resto, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ramiro Bento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Resto went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Victorino Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Bento having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Victorino Resto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patronato's Ramiro Bento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Ubaldo Mendez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Bento skillfully saved the ball. Patronato's Ramiro Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Resto in the 31st minute of play. Timoteo Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Tonete having to interfere. The supporters of Patronato booed when Talleres Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Resto took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Bento. Ramiro Bento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Talleres Cba were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Resto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patronato's goalkeeper Ramiro Bento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ramiro Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victorino Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Bento having to interfere. The corner led Talleres Cba's Camilo Maraman to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramiro Bento despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Talleres Cba's Delmar Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Resto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Bento having to interfere. Talleres Cba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
