Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Placido Cloyo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Placido Cloyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Jujuy's goalkeeper Mateo Fidele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Raymundo. If Placido Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Felipe Raymundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Rumaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Placido Cloyo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mateo Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia. Mateo Fidele was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Placido Cloyo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Placido Cloyo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Placido Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mateo Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jujuy defense, Felipe Raymundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Fidele. The Jujuy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Fidele should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Fidele having to interfere. Mateo Fidele made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Felipe Raymundo sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mateo Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Fidele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Raymundo in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Rumaldo was the one to do the kick off. Omar Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mateo Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Placido Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Fidele having to interfere. Jose Tanio's late challenge caught a Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Tanio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Jose Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Cloyo in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Felipe Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Cloyo in the 68th minute of play forced Jujuy's goalkeeper Mateo Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resistencia's Placido Cloyo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Cloyo in the 73rd minute of play forced Jujuy's goalkeeper Mateo Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Felipe Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Raymundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Felipe Raymundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Fidele was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jujuy's Mateo Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Cloyo in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Felipe Raymundo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Fidele. Felipe Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mateo Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Placido Cloyo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Cloyo couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Resistencia fully deserved thier win.
