Isaias Atarratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Harriet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Atarratze ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Honorato Cibran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Laurin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Amador Laurin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Quirze in the 43rd minute. Evelio Cugat charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A.Temperley would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
