Saturnino Telo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Bemabe in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Clemente Itzaina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Chivas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calderón were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
