Higinio Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Arana AFC booed when BYF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Lehoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tobias Reno could save by the left post. A wasted opportunity for Arana AFC. Guaberto Alfonso's late challenge caught a BYF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Alfonso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arana AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Guaberto Alfonso hit a great ball. Tobias Reno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Alfonso in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Alfonso in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Reno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The BYF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Reno should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, BYF's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Lehoi came free, but Tobias Reno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arana AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
