Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cayetano Normando took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mario Hulberto hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Flavio Montxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Crispo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Matheu's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Froylan came free, but Victorino Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romang's Flavio Montxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Crispo in the 17th minute of play. Flavio Montxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Crispo in the 19th minute of the match. Edgard Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Donio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vicente Crispo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Montxo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Edgard Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Cayetano Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Montxo having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Crispo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Matheu got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Fix. After having played for 59 minutes, Edgard Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Donio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aureliano Estebe. With a little luck, Matheu's Victorino Donio got control of the ball when Edgard Froylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cayetano Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Victorino Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Romang's Aureliano Estebe tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cayetano Normando struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Victorino Donio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romang. Vicente Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Flavio Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Romang getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leon Oriol hit a great ball. When Nereo Fix came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Matheu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Fix couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Crispo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Montxo saved Romang from getting behind. Flavio Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Fix in the 88th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Romang got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Txema. Norberto Faron's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Flavio Montxo - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 92nd minute. Romang's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
