After a rather tough play, Talati's Bernardo Transito got a free kick in the 29th minute. Hipolito Aimar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Anastasio Buinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Gipuzkoa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The referee gave Talati a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Julio Ereinotz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Afrika's Sebastian Suarez. 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Eguerdi made a kick off. Sebastian Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Eguerdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Talati's Uriel Eguerdi got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Humberto Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Antonio Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Afrika's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Eguerdi came free, but Sebastian Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Humberto Berdaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Antonio Illan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Humberto Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
