Boulogne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Santiago Reynardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ritmo Que Pesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boulogne the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Ritmo Que Pesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Piarres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Piearres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boulogne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ritmo Que Pesa the free kick. After 23 played minutes Boulogne got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Piearres. In the 28th match minute, Boulogne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Beliran to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Rumaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Maura in the 31st minute. Ritmo Que Pesa's Benigno Rumaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ritmo Que Pesa from getting a goal against them. If Gervasio Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Rumaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. Jaime Manex received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. When Severino Iraunkor came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Boulogne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Iraunkor couldn't finish the play. Ramon Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Rumaldo having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Laurentzi made a kick off. Severiano Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benigno Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ritmo Que Pesa's zone, Gervasio Harkaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Rumaldo came out of the goal and Gervasio Harkaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Benigno Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Ritmo Que Pesa's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Gomez came free, but Benigno Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Gervasio Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ritmo Que Pesa getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bernardo Laurentzi hit a great ball. Carmelo Hats shot from long distance in the 74th minute, but Prudencio Piarres was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Ramon Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benigno Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boulogne's Gervasio Harkaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Iraunkor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Boulogne players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
