Wolfburg FC's Isidoro Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Donio in the 26th minute of play. Isidoro Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Pacho was the one to do the kick off. When Esteban Donio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CUERVOMANIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Donio couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the CUERVOMANIA defense, Tomás Pacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Sugoi. The CUERVOMANIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Sugoi should have stopped the shot. Ovidio Dubardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th match minute, Wolfburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. If Esteban Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
