Eleuterio Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Hermelando might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleuterio Escobar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Hermelando ran back to his position shaking his head. Eleuterio Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Nayely in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Cirilo Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Nayely struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Eleuterio Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sañicó FC. In the 19th minute of the match Ismael Manny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eleuterio Escobar skillfully saved the ball. Teo Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Lia having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Pichanas got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Mikelats. A collision led to Sañicó FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rafael Nayely hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Napier got free with Alberto Lia in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes Sañicó FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelino Eduino who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Angelino Eduino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sañicó FC's Alberto Lia did a great save. A collision led to Pichanas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alfonso Mikelats hit a great ball. Rafael Nayely took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Escobar. Eleuterio Escobar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eleuterio Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rafael Nayely made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Clemente Mancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Valery charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Valery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Celedonio Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alberto Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Nayely in the 61st minute of the match. Celedonio Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sañicó FC defense, Alfonso Mikelats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Lia. The Sañicó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Lia should have stopped the shot. Godofredo Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Celedonio Valery notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sañicó FC's Alberto Lia. Alberto Lia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Pichanas's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Nayely came free, but Eleuterio Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Teo Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Valery in the 88th minute of play forced Sañicó FC's goalkeeper Alberto Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Pichanas's Celedonio Valery sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Lia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Napier in the 91st minute of the match. Alberto Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Napier in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sañicó FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pichanas.
