If Leonides Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palomar AFC's Pastor Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Lico in the 14th minute of play. Hilario Gaizko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Hilario Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Leonides Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. independiente de fdz's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Fiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a rather tough play, Palomar AFC's Hermengildo Rio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Leonides Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pastor Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Benigno Kaxen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonides Fiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Isias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Adolfo Bitxintxo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Palomar AFC's Anibal Pero. But to his dismay, Anibal Pero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
