In the 17th match minute, Racedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Torres to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Abeijon during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Club Atletico Cuervo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racedo FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Sagrario to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Racedo FC's Andres Abeijon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Balendin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alejo Gorbea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Bembe in the 56th minute of play. Paulo Bembe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Bembe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racedo FC's Alejo Gorbea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Sagrario in the 80th minute of play. Racedo FC's Isidro Gonzo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico Cuervo. If Raimundo Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nereo Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Racedo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
