Angel Ladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Polo in the 23rd minute of play forced Sportivo Carpenari's goalkeeper Angel Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Sportivo Carpenari's protests and gave Mauricio Ritchie a yellow card for diving instead. Salvador Polo might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Ladio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Polo ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Polo succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 42nd match minute, Sportivo Carpenari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo George to maneuver through the defense. If Rosendo Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sportivo Carpenari players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clara AFC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Ritchie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Sportivo Carpenari got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Monico. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Carpenari's Ricardo Monico got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Ambrosio Janpier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Ladio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Cirilo Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Clara AFC's Rosendo Jokin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After 66 played minutes Sportivo Carpenari got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Bento. In the 73rd minute, Rosendo Jokin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clara AFC's Salvador Polo managed to work through Sportivo Carpenari's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Salvador Polo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 88th minute, Rosendo Jokin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Salvador Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Polo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clara AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
