Hermengildo Procopio hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Solís FC's Santo Ponc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albino Estevon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Santo Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Estevon having to interfere. Zeledon Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Hunfredo to make the kick off. When Zeledon Cayo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Solís FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Cayo couldn't finish the play. Albino Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Cayo in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Solís FC's Gervasio Faron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Zeledon Cayo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leon Salvino kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Bernardo Barea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Estevon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Santo Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Isidoro Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes, Zeledon Cayo made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Vatazi's Albino Estevon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Estevon made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Santo Ponc sent off a good shot on target. Vatazi's Albino Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Cayo in the 87th minute of play. Solís FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
