After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Cortez was the one to do the kick off. If Isidro Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Cortez in the 58th minute of play. Isidro Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sergio Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pegasano's Alejandro Urtungo got control of the ball when Prudencio Eskuin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pegasano's Bruno Frederico got a free kick in the 74th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Albano Natanael sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Alejandro Urtungo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Albano Natanael this time. Flavio Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Isidro Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pegasano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Cortez couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes of play, Pegasano's Isidro Cortez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Ihazintu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pegasano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
