The referee ignored Tucumán F.C.'s protests and gave Justino Ubelteso a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Tucumán F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Justino Ubelteso. Tucumán F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Anselmo Cordareo scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Sergi, making the score, 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Amado Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Gamus having to interfere. If Jairo Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Intxixu in the 38th minute of the match. Anselmo Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ruperto Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Intxixu was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of il andrel0s booed when Tucumán F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ruperto Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Banegas in the 90th minute of play. Anselmo Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Sergi having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. il andrel0s had won after a very even match.
