Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerardo Gilesindo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bonifacio Batista came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo's Elias Guerrero. But to his dismay, Elias Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Chacras's Adrian Walme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Hilario Etor fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacras's protests and gave Hilario Etor a yellow card for diving instead. Feliberto Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Adrian Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Walme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Gilesindo came free, but Feliberto Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Feliberto Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Walme. Feliberto Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Gilesindo in the 21st minute of the match. Paulino Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Batista having to interfere. With his leg Feliberto Valentine managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Chacras's Adrian Walme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Chacras's Feliberto Valentine threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Gilesindo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chacras's Adrian Walme got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chacras booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Gilesindo in the 46th minute of play. Gerardo Gilesindo struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Feliberto Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacras. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Ignazio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Walme in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Valentine saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. The supporters of Chacras booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Ignazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Gilesindo came free, but Feliberto Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerardo Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Feliberto Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerardo Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Adrian Walme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Feliberto Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Adrian Walme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Valentine came out of the goal and Adrian Walme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliberto Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Etor in the 81st minute of play. Adrian Walme struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute Adrian Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Valentine having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Gilesindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Valentine was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 98thth minute of the game Gerardo Gilesindo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Feliberto Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chacras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
