Fermin Asteri might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Naelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Asteri ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilario Inge hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Agustin Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Honorato Veto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Los wachis and the Rio Limay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fermin Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Los wachis's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Asteri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Naelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute of the match, Fermin Asteri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Feliciano Naelio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Abelardo Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rio Limay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Veremundo couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Los wachis's goalkeeper Anselmo Santo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Veremundo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Agustin Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Anselmo Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Fermin Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Los wachis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Anselmo Santo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Agustin Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Abelardo Veremundo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anselmo Santo. The goal made the score 0-2. Agustin Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Santo having to interfere. Feliciano Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Honorato Veto came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the C.A.Los wachis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Veto couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, C.A.Los wachis's Anselmo Santo got control of the ball when Agustin Sengrat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celedonio Bermund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anselmo Santo came out and tried to block the shot, but Celedonio Bermund slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rio Limay FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
