After a defensive mix-up in Maggolo FC's zone, Fernan Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Galeno came out of the goal and Fernan Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Maggolo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Ignatius came free, but Marcos Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Maggolo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Serafino Ignatius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maggolo FC's Marcos Galeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Maggolo FC from getting a goal against them. Serafino Ignatius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafino Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Galeno having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Maggolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Montrel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Ignatius in the 53rd minute of play forced Maggolo FC's goalkeeper Marcos Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fernan Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fátima's Serafino Ignatius, in the 58th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Fátima. Fernan Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Serafino Ignatius made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maggolo FC's Marcos Galeno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Anacleto Lico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fernan Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Fátima's Serafino Ignatius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Galeno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. There was no doubt that Fátima were the better team. Fátima's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
