The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Ostadar during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eugenio Ostadar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Gaudencio Tallia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlos Ur, passed just outside the right post. Carlos Ur made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Astor Vermudo sent off a good shot on target. Gaudencio Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Tallia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Aurelio Maldonado managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Donato Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carlos Ur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Tallia in the 59th minute of the match. Donato Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carlos Ur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Britos's zone, Eugenio Ostadar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Llorienzo came out of the goal and Eugenio Ostadar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ur having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Britos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
