An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Nevada in the 7th minute of play forced Chelforó AFC's goalkeeper Camilo Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mikolas having to interfere. When Cesar Nevada fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recreo's protests and gave Cesar Nevada a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Recreo's Cesar Nevada got a free kick in the 13th minute. Fermin Mikolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Rivero in the 17th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Chelforó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Aimar to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Nevada struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Camilo Servando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreo. After 47th play minutes Gervasio Toro shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Camilo Servando and just under the crossbar into goal. The Chelforó AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Recreo were winning 0-1.

When Iker Ermano came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chelforó AFC fans jumped to their feet. Tomas Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Beila took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Camilo Servando. Chelforó AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Isidoro Ekaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelforó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recreo the free kick. After 72 played minutes Chelforó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Ekaitz. In the 73rd minute Gervasio Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Cesar Nevada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Camilo Servando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Recreo fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Recreo's Cesar Nevada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Cesar Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Gervasio Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Nevada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Camilo Servando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Recreo booed when Chelforó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Chelforó AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Recreo's performance. The match ended with a win for Recreo.
