Lisandro Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Buinton having to interfere. When Augusto Ulizes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER PAUL's protests and gave Augusto Ulizes a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes RIVER PAUL got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Ulizes. Lisandro Uzuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fulgencio Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Nuxila made a kick off. Martin Abecia made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gustavo Weterio sent off a good shot on target. The Vittone FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while RIVER PAUL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
