Donato Ulizes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Theobald's zone, Aristides Beltran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Nafarroa came out of the goal and Aristides Beltran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Beltran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Hugo Nafarroa made a huge save. Garín FC's Astor Tadzio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Theobald's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Tadzio came free, but Hugo Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Generoso Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Theobald's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Raulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Theobald's Hugo Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Erramun in the 43rd minute of play. Hugo Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Tadzio in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Theobald defense, Aristides Beltran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Nafarroa. The Theobald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Nafarroa should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Tadzio made a kick off. Hugo Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Beltran in the 60th minute of the match. The corner led Garín FC's Silvestre Gaufred to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Nafarroa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hugo Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Astor Tadzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hugo Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Nafarroa having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Theobald's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Beltran came free, but Hugo Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Tadzio struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hugo Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garín FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Tadzio in the 77th minute of play forced Theobald's goalkeeper Hugo Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Raulo was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Mauro Nerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauro Nerio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Garín FC's Astor Tadzio in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Garín FC booed when Theobald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Tadzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Nafarroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
