Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Gau got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Sebastian Gau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebrachitos's goalkeeper Abel Oihenarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Gau in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Hume booed when Quebrachitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Koldobika hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Sebastian Gau fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 27 played minutes Hume got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Francesco. Tiburcio Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Quebrachitos got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Illan. A collision led to Hume getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Santo Lluis hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Hume's Abel Oihenarte threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Gau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alberto Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gaspar Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Silviano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Oihenarte came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hume's Benigno Francesco. But to his dismay, Benigno Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hume's Virgilio Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Quebrachitos got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Santiago. Sebastian Gau struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Abel Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hume. After having played for 66 minutes, Virgilio Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hume's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Virgilio Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Oihenarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Gau's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When Virgilio Platon came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hume fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Platon couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Hume's Virgilio Platon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Oihenarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos defense, Sebastian Gau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Oihenarte. The Quebrachitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute Virgilio Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
