When Constantino Quexal came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Independiente F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Quexal couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Constantino Quexal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardino Dino. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 20th match minute, Mogote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Guillelmo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Leonel Guillelmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Guillelmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dino having to interfere. The nice shot from Constantino Quexal in the 34thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bernardino Dino had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 35th minute Leonel Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Kusko charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Kusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mogote's Ciriaco Kusko got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bernardino Dino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Guillelmo in the 40th minute. Leonel Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mogote's Alberto Silban got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bernardino Dino came out of the goal and Leonel Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Leonel Guillelmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leonel Guillelmo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Independiente F.C fans jumped to their feet. Mogote's Bernardino Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Guillelmo in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Leonel Guillelmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mogote's Bernardino Dino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Leonel Guillelmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Dino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 74th minute Leonel Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Quexal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Dino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Leonel Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mogote's zone, Constantino Quexal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Dino came out of the goal and Constantino Quexal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Mogote defense, Constantino Quexal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Dino. The Mogote fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Dino should have stopped the shot. Independiente F.C's Haroldo Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dino having to interfere. Bernardino Dino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Guillelmo in the 91st minute of play. The Independiente F.C fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Independiente F.C's Constantino Quexal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
