Jeremias Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Laurgain's late challenge caught a Logroño AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Laurgain helped the player get up and apologised. After 26th play minutes Jeremias Normando shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Remigio Oliverio and just under the crossbar into goal. Jeremias Normando made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 29thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Remigio Oliverio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Sixto Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bruno Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jeremias Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bruno Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Cordara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jeremias Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guajal's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Normando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Logroño AFC's zone, Jeremias Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Oliverio came out of the goal and Jeremias Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Simon Bernebe notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Logroño AFC's Remigio Oliverio. Remigio Oliverio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remigio Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 72 minutes into the game, Simon Bernebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Remigio Oliverio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremias Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Bernebe in the 77th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, Guajal's Rafael Barto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remigio Oliverio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guajal reached it. Logroño AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
