Spectators: 7265 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorio Inge started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Honorio Inge sped through Tiburones F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carolo Ihintza. After 10 minutes of play, Chañar FC's Anacleto Urko made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Ihintza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Eguzki hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 17th minute when Ermegildo Ostots elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Chañar FC's Basilio Belo got control of the ball when Leo Chan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, German Gabirel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of Tiburones F.C. booed when Chañar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ciriaco Gorosti from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Basilio Belo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Anacleto Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chañar FC's Eloy Lohitzun got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Eloy Lohitzun off the ground. After a rather tough play, Chañar FC's Eloy Lohitzun got a free kick in the 40th minute. Amado Demario charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Demario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Chañar FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leo Chan made the kick off in the second half. Leo Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Carolo Ihintza came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chañar FC's Honorio Inge. But to his dismay, Honorio Inge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 62nd match minute, Chañar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anacleto Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Urko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Tiburones F.C. defense, Anacleto Urko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Ihintza. The Tiburones F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Ihintza should have stopped the shot. Anacleto Urko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carolo Ihintza firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st match minute, Tiburones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Demario to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Ihintza made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Anacleto Urko sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carolo Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chañar FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
