Leopoldo Paez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Mauricio Tximitx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute Edgardo Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Tximitx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Higuera FC's Edgardo Oxarra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Tximitx was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leopoldo Paez came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Higuera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Paez couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes, Leopoldo Paez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuera FC and the Orán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Higuera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Paez to maneuver through the defense. If Leopoldo Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edgardo Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Higuera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Oxarra couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Tximitx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Salomone during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
