With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Donzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anixa's Silvano Iyan in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Devisadero FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Silvano Iyan came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Anixa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Iyan couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gaspar Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devisadero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Venerando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Maldonado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Honorio Donzel. Devisadero FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anixa's Genaro Aritza got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Silvano Iyan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devisadero FC's Honorio Donzel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Esteve Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silvano Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Devisadero FC's zone, Silvano Iyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Donzel came out of the goal and Silvano Iyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Ferdinand might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Venerando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Ferdinand ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Gaspar Ricart made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Venerando. Anixa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anixa's Ermegildo Venerando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Anixa from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Devisadero FC's Gaspar Ricart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Venerando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Anixa got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Cloyo. A hard shot by Mauro Lluis from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Ermegildo Venerando's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ermegildo Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Honorio Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Felix Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Gaspar Ricart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Devisadero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anixa's goalkeeper Ermegildo Venerando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Venerando having to interfere. Silvano Iyans short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Honorio Donzel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
