Rafael Fagondo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Artemio Bembe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luján FC. When Honorio Salvadore came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Clara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Salvadore couldn't finish the play. If Gilberto Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Cerilo's late challenge caught a Luján FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Robustiano Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Fagondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Honorio Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gilberto Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clara's Gilberto Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Clara's Gilberto Michael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Cordaryal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luján FC's Apolo Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Luján FC's zone, Honorio Salvadore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Cordaryal came out of the goal and Honorio Salvadore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Bembe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Fagondo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rafael Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luján FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Fagondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luján FC's Apolo Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Honorio Salvadore made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Artemio Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Claus hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gilberto Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Cordaryal having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Carolo Llorenc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Apolo Galo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Artemio Bembe. Rafael Fagondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Bembe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Apolo Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Artemio Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Galo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luján FC's Carolo Llorenc got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Carolo Llorenc off the ground. Artemio Bembe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Loiola in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clara's goalkeeper Artemio Bembe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artemio Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
