Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Cordarius to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Capochex's Filomeno Arnalt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Sanford getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fernando Demesio hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, one of Sanford:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Capochex. Erasmo Uhin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramon Thomas. 1-2. 75 minutes into the match, Sanford's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Cordarius came free, but Ramon Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Placido Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match, Filomeno Arnalt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramon Thomas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Capochex's Timoteo Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Ramone in the 84th minute of play. When Fernando Demesio fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanford's protests and gave Fernando Demesio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sanford's Fernando Demesio got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Filomeno Arnalt came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Capochex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Arnalt couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capochex had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
