Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Eustacio Amaya made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Tono in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Paez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Marcelino Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Olentzaro, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Ismiango's Serafino Restu got a free kick in the 13th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tunalito's Jacobo Olentzaro tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Tono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timoteo Paez was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Nicanor Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tunalito's Gerardo Gimenez in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 21st minute of the match Jacobo Olentzaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timoteo Paez skillfully saved the ball. After 22 played minutes Ismiango got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Rios. When Gerardo Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Tunalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Gimenez scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Paez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amado Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Gimenez in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Paez saved Ismiango from getting behind. Ismiango's Timoteo Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Gimenez in the 36th minute of play. Timoteo Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Gimenez to make the kick off. Gerardo Gimenez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Tunalito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 57th minute of the match Raimundo Lidon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timoteo Paez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerardo Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Timoteo Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Ismiango's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Sandalio came free, but Timoteo Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerardo Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Timoteo Paez managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Tunalito's Nicanor Tono fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ismiango's goalkeeper Timoteo Paez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerardo Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Nicanor Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Tono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Ismiango's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Gimenez came free, but Timoteo Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Tunalito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ismiango throughout the match.
