Fernan Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Oliverios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Reconquista booed when Frufro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gavino Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Reconquista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Oliverios couldn't finish the play. Fernan Tiniebra came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquista's Lucas Eate. But to his dismay, Lucas Eate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Frufro FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jesus Tartalo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquista's zone, Marcial Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The supporters of Frufro FC booed when Reconquista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Reconquista's protests and gave Feliciano Rutenio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Reconquista getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Feliciano Rutenio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Naldo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Eguerdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Frufro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Naldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Tomás Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frufro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reconquista the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Tomás Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Reconquista had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
