The audience was convinced that Fermin Astigar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Godoy was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Astigar in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Teodoro Lazcano made a great header on Palmitas's corner, it was just that Pasman AFC's Ruperto Beremundo managed to reach the ball for a save. Palmitas's Atilano Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Astigar in the 64th minute of play. Marcos Quintun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Atilano Godoy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fermin Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Godoy having to interfere. Albano Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonathan Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Albano Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Beremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pasman AFC's Melquiades Txilar got a free kick in the 90th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Jonathan Veto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ruperto Beremundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Pasman AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Pasman AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Palmitas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
