Cristo Casomiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Fermin Sasoin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristo Casomiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Sasoin having to make a save. Ismael Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeronimo Eneto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juan Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Limache FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Juan Ovando made the kick off in the second half. Cristo Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Mamaguita's goalkeeper Amancio Celipe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Eneto. Juan Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Amancio Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Ovando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Celipe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Erasmo Tome charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Tome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Limache FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Tome. After having played for 80 minutes, Ismael Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamaguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Amancio Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Limache FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Tome to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mamaguita's zone, Juan Ovando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Celipe came out of the goal and Juan Ovando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
