Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anier Peio started the match with the kick off. Humberto Muno came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilinquil's Mateo Ladio. But to his dismay, Mateo Ladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rene Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Pereyra in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Muno saved ARGENTINA from getting behind. If Eduardo Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Ladio in the 16th minute of play forced ARGENTINA's goalkeeper Humberto Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Pereyra charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Pereyra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Rene Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Peio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Merexildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Rene Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Benino kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Quilinquil's Mateo Ladio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ARGENTINA's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Eduardo Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilinquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Oinatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Humberto Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Peio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Humberto Muno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Oinatz in the 34th minute of play. Eduardo Oinatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Ladio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Muno having to make a save. Humberto Muno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Gimenez went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute Eduardo Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Muno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Bras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Rene Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cosme Benino fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARGENTINA's protests and gave Cosme Benino a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Benino hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Jose Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilinquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Humberto Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Ladio got free with Humberto Muno in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Quilinquil's Mateo Ladio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Humberto Muno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Pereyra in the 72nd minute. Jose Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Ladio struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Humberto Muno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilinquil. In the 77th minute, Mateo Ladio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Humberto Muno, passed just outside the right post. When Domingo Bras came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Quilinquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Bras couldn't finish the play. ARGENTINA's Humberto Muno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Oinatz in the 79th minute of play. Anier Peio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Humberto Muno made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Rene Pereyra sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Jose Gimenez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quilinquil played a much better game than ARGENTINA and deserved their victory. The ARGENTINA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
