The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angel Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Colas having to interfere. Primitivo Bizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Esteban Oalo made a huge save. With a little luck, Social y Deportivo's Esteban Oalo got control of the ball when Primitivo Bizi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes Pulpera FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Iruinea. In the 15th minute Angel Cugat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Social y Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Cisco to maneuver through the defense. When Primitivo Bizi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pulpera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Bizi couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Bizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Esteban Oalo made a huge save. In the 25th minute Astor Enetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Cugat scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Colas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Social y Deportivo's goalkeeper Esteban Oalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Victoriano Gonsalvo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pulpera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Social y Deportivo the free kick. Victoriano Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Angel Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Oalo having to interfere.

The wind increased when Astor Enetz made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Enetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Cugat struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Fabio Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Social y Deportivo. If Astor Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Erramun was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Presebal shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Astor Enetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Social y Deportivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Enetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Colas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angel Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Colas having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Astor Enetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Colas was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
